RISE

RISE (Reaching Independence through Structured Education)

The RISE Program supports students with autism and other significant social, communication, and behavioral needs within an inclusive school environment. Through structured instruction, individualized supports, and meaningful opportunities for participation in general education settings, students develop the skills needed to thrive both academically and socially.

At Hidden Valley Elementary, we believe every student has unique strengths and unlimited potential. The RISE Program honors the dignity and worth of each learner while providing specialized instruction designed to foster growth, confidence, and independence.

Our Mission

To provide a supportive, structured, and inclusive learning environment where students develop the academic, social, communication, and self-advocacy skills necessary for lifelong success.

Program Highlights

  • Individualized instruction tailored to student needs
  • Structured learning environments and evidence-based practices
  • Opportunities for inclusion with general education peers
  • Collaboration among teachers, specialists, and families
  • Focus on communication, social skills, self-regulation, and independence
  • Supportive transition planning across grade levels

Our Goal

Our ultimate goal is to help every student achieve the highest possible level of independence while recognizing and celebrating their individual strengths, interests, and potential.
