Hidden Valley Elementary School was built in 1970 and is situated in a beautiful residential neighborhood in northeast Santa Rosa. It began as a school for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing and still serves the DHH community in our region.
Hidden Valley serves students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade with 540 students, 30 classroom teachers and multiple support teachers and staff. We have a very supportive Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) which works hard to provide students, teachers, and families with what they need to thrive.
Known for our strong academic and wellness programs, we strive to facilitate open communication, trust and an effective working relationship among all stakeholders. Children and adults have an appreciation of, and respect for individual differences and similarities. We all work hard to follow our 5 basic school rules: be safe, be kind, be respectful, be responsible, be a problem solver. It is our goal at Hidden Valley to foster a sense of community, empowerment, pride, and responsibility, helping to create life-long learners.
